Hammer Union Figures Exporter in India
Kayon Forging Corporation LLP is a hammer union manufacturer and exporter in India, supplying a range of hammer unions for standard and sour service applications across various pressure classes. We support domestic and international requirements, including the UAE, USA, Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and other countries, with figure-specific configurations, end connections, and specifications tailored to project needs.
Hammer union figure numbers identify key design characteristics, including pressure ratings, sealing arrangements, and colour codes used for product identification. API Spec 7HU2 establishes requirements for design, materials, interchangeability, and marking for the figures and sizes within its scope. Understanding these specifications helps buyers select compatible hammer unions and verify suitability for their intended operating conditions.

Inside a Hammer Union
The main components of a hammer union are the male sub, female sub, wing nut, and sealing element. The male sub has a spherical sealing nose, while the female sub contains a matching conical seat.
The wing nut engages the ACME threads to hold the connection together, while the seal design varies by union type and may use metal-to-metal contact or an elastomer seal to contain pressure.
Standard and Sour Service
Hammer unions are manufactured from forged carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. Sour service products are supplied to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 requirements, with controlled hardness and suitable materials for H₂S environments.
- Forged materials with controlled properties
- Standard and sour service configurations
- NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service
- Metal-to-metal or elastomer sealing options
From bar to union, under one roof
We manufacture hammer unions from forged components, with each stage carried out to the required specifications. The subs and wing nuts are shaped to support load-bearing areas, while CNC machining produces the sealing surfaces, threads, and end connections. Components then undergo specified inspections and hydrostatic testing before marking and painting for identification and dispatch.

Hammer Unions FAQ's
Find answers to common questions about hammer union sizes, pressure ratings, materials, specifications, testing, and MOQ’s from KAFCO Asia.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) for hammer unions?
Minimum order quantities may depend on the required figure number, size, configuration, and order specifications. Contact our team with your requirements to confirm the MOQ and obtain a quotation.
What details should I provide when requesting a hammer union quotation?
To help us prepare an accurate quotation, please specify the hammer union size, figure number, supply type, end connections, service requirements, and required certification. For example, you can request a 2-inch Fig. 1502 complete union with XXS butt-weld ends on both sides, for standard service, with EN 10204 Type 3.1 certification. Please also share the required quantity and delivery location so we can review your requirements and provide a suitable quotation.
What end connection options are available for hammer unions?
Hammer union end connections may include low-pressure (LP) or NPT threaded connections and butt-weld ends, depending on the required configuration. Share your connection specifications with us so we can confirm the suitable options.
What materials are used to manufacture hammer unions?
Our hammer unions are manufactured using forged carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel, selected according to the required pressure rating and service conditions. High-pressure configurations may use AISI 4130 or 4140 alloy steel with controlled heat treatment, while selected sour-service configurations meet applicable NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 requirements, including hardness controls for H₂S environments. For detailed material specifications and suitable configurations, contact our team to discuss your application requirements.
What types of testing and inspection are performed on hammer unions before dispatch?
Depending on the product specification and order requirements, testing may include dimensional inspection, hardness testing, and pressure testing.
Can I order spare seals and wing nuts with hammer unions?
Yes, you can include spare seals and wing nuts in your enquiry. Specify the hammer union figure number, size, and required quantities so we can review compatibility and include the requested items in the quotation.
